The private practice and professional corporation of Julia Mendoza Marriage and Family Counseling is looking for a Licensed Telehealth Therapist LCSW/LMFT/LPCC to join our growing team of dedicated professionals. We are looking for experienced clinicians who are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a remote setting. 

About Us:

Julia Mendoza, a licensed marriage and family therapist, established her private practice in 2018, which flourished into a full-time endeavor by 2021. Now known as "Julia Mendoza Marriage and Family Counseling Professional Corporation," the practice operates as a California telehealth professional corporation and is recognized as a BIPOC-owned, and woman-owned small business.

• With certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention, the practice addresses mental health concerns such as Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety, Bipolar I/II Disorder, OCD and PTSD. Additionally, they provide support for individuals facing life stressors, including divorce, job loss, employer mistreatment, LGBTQ+ issues, and other political/social challenges.

• Our growing team of telehealth providers offers quality remote care with flexible scheduling and caseload size.

• We provide state and federal HIPAA compliant electronic health records, HIPAA compliant video platform, and AI assisted documenting, and subscriptions to EHR documentation services.

• Clinicians receive technology training and full administrative support and coordination.

• Our comprehensive, high-performance online clinic integrates electronic health records, practice management, and scheduling.

• Competitive contracted rates allow clinicians to focus on patient care, part-time hourly rates starting at $40-70 an hour. 

What We Offer:

• 100% Remote: Enjoy the convenience of working from your own HIPAA-compliant workspace providing quality care to patients.
• Part-time: Flexible and self-assigned hourly schedule, self-assigned 2-20 hours a week.
• Comprehensive administrative and managerial support for employees and a dedicated representative for client support. We handle all scheduling and client registration/ discontinuation, client complaints/grievances, and billing and invoicing for you.
• Insurance Credentialing.
• Select your preferred client population with opportunities to work with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and older adults.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient therapy sessions via our secure HIPAA compliant video telehealth platform.
• Utilize innovative telemedicine approaches for patient care, including interventions based in CBT, DBT, or other evidence-based practices.
• Document patient interactions and maintain electronic health records.
• Collaborate with the clinical team as needed.
• Must have a personal computer system that can access the internet, with camera and microphone, headphones, in a private setting.
• Must use a HIPAA-compliant office workspace.
• Conduct 30-60 minute weekly/biweekly video therapy sessions with assigned clients helping them improve their mental health.

• Lowest-level of outpatient care for our clients, high-risk clients are referred to appropriate higher levels of care with other agencies.
• Partial reimbursement for no shows & late cancellations.

Qualifications:

• Active clinical licensure to practice in CALIFORNIA
• Active Clinical licensure in LMFT/LCSW/LPC/LMHC.
• Proficiency in using technology for patient management or EHR.
• Preferred: Remote telehealth therapy experience.
• Preferred: Experience working with children.
